<div>On Monday night, Candace and Brandon lost their oldest daughter, Annabelle. My name is Kyle Petitt, and as a close friend of their family, I’m raising money to help carry some of the financial weight in the days ahead.

Family is flying in from out of state to be with them for Annabelle’s service this Saturday, 5/16, and the cost of last-minute flights, hotels, and lodging has landed on Candace and Brandon’s shoulders at the worst possible moment.

In Loving Memory of Annabelle

My family and I are facing a difficult situation this winter. Our furnace, which has kept us warm for over 21 years, has finally stopped working. With the cold weather settling in and Christmas just around the corner, we’ve found ourselves in a tough spot. My husband is retired, I work as a substitute teacher, and our son is mentally disabled. While we do our best to manage on our income, unexpected expenses like a furnace replacement are more than we can handle right now.

 Having a working furnace is essential for our family’s comfort and safety, especially during the coldest months of the year. Without heat, it’s hard to keep our home warm for our son and ourselves. We’re reaching out to our community for help so we can replace our furnace and get through the winter safely. My name is Connie White, and I’m reaching out for help for my family. We are a retired military family living in Colorado Springs, and we have a special needs son who requires both my spouse and me to care for him full-time. Because of this, I am the only one able to work, and it’s been a challenge to keep up with unexpected expenses.

 In October, our furnace broke down after 21 years of use, leaving us without heat or A/C. With winter here, our home has become uncomfortable and even unsafe at times, especially for our son who needs extra care and stability. We’ve checked with local companies and stores, and the cost to replace the furnace and have it installed is more than we can manage right now.

 A new furnace would mean so much to us—it would bring warmth and safety back to our home and help us focus on caring for our son without the added stress of a cold house. <div>Kristen Parker, or Parker to those of us in her Derby Family, was involved in a serious car accident on February 9, 2023. She sustained major injuries and faces a long road to recovery. Parker is such a fighter and an amazing person to be around. She inspires every person she comes in contact with and is an invaluable member of our league and derby family. While she's recovering, she and her family could really use your support.

<div>Not much is known yet about what her recovery will look like, but doctors are being positive. Right now, the important thing is taking as much concern off of her family as possible so they can be with her and each other.
