Payment Model: Pay What You Can<br /><br />Communities: Homeless Shelters, Longterm Care Facilities, and Nursing Homes<br /><br /><br />Our mission is to work in collaboration with organizations and facilities across the Greater Toronto region that are tirelessly working hard to provide basic life essentials, such as health care and food, to marginalized populations that are at a higher risk for contracting COVID-19. With 800,000 Canadians laid-off in the foodservice industry, 30% of those that will not be able to survive the aftermath effects of COVID-19, we are working directly with local chefs and owners of small businesses to help support them overcome the financial impact of COVID-19 on our community. <div>Once alive with the laughter of 50 young children, today only 13 little ones still walk through its doors. Not because families have given up on education — but because the school meant to protect and inspire has become a place of danger.

<div>The roof, over 35 years old, leaks heavily when it rains. The walls are crumbling, the washrooms are unusable, and the kitchen has none of the basic tools to prepare food. The library has more dust than books.

<div>These children come from families who cannot afford private schooling, but their parents have something even more powerful: determination. They’ve offered to volunteer and help rebuild the school themselves — they just need help getting the materials.
