Julie Holt

My name is Julie Holt, and I live in Tennessee where I teach high school Latin and live with my teacher husband, Tim. Tim teaches 1st grade and is set to retire after next year. We just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary and raised two wonderful children. Grace is 31 and living her best life with her cat, Bugs, and her cute apartment. Wyatt is our oldest child, 33, and married to Cori. Unfortunately, Wyatt has suffered some major health problems and is currently in active liver failure. There is no cure for liver failure, but because of his determination and some great doctors, he has been placed on the liver transplant list at Vanderbilt Hospital. Wyatt and Cori were pretty typical thirtysomethings raising two cats and working, but Wyatt got really sick. It’s hard to work and manage expenses when facing such a serious illness. The funds raised will help cover medical bills, transplant-related costs, and living expenses while Wyatt is unable to work.
