We have a venue for the January 17th, 2026 benefit singing! Elegant Events on Gamble Ave in Jasper, AL is our venue. This is a gorgeous facility with a ton of space for us! It is also handicap accesible! (Entrance is on the back side of the building). Singing and dinner will start at 5, all in the same room. Bowl of soup/stew/chili, bread, desert and drink for $10. We will end around 7-ish pm. Purchase of dinner is NOT required to attend. *Donations are not required to attend but are very much appreciated! The dinner is seperate from the singing and there is no door charge to attend! Dinner is optional and there is a $10 charge for it.* Some consessions will also be available for purchase throughout the event. Bowl of soup alone is $7. Grilled Cheese will be $2. We are so very excited to have three groups performing for us! Grow The Kingdom, Heart's Desire, and Eagle's Wing! These groups are local and we are Blessed to have them! They may have merchandise for sale as well and will be making a donation from sales toward the benefit. Please share this event with friends, family, local Churches and let's help Sha and Bubba reach their goal!!! ~~~~~~~~~~ There has been an update about Sha Hallman's dental surgery. They have altered the proceedure they will do and it will cost around $8,000. That's much better than the original $40,000, but is still out of reach for Sha and Anthony Bubba Hallman. If you can help them, please do! If not, please share this so that they can reach their goal! There will be a fundraising Benefit singing on January 17th, 2026 from 5pm-7pm. There will be special offering/donations taken at the church or donations can be made to Pastor, Anthony "Bubba" Hallman at $bubbah1973 on $ app. During the singing, we will have a dinner. For $10 you will get a hot bowl of comfort (Soup/Stew/Chili/Taco Soup/Potato Soup/Chicken Pot Stew, Chicken & Dumplings, etc.) Cornbread/Crackers, a sweet treat and a drink. There is no cost for the singing itself. Donations are very much appreciated but are not required to attend the singing. Please come out and enjoy the singing even if you cannot donate. Our Community has been truly Blessed to have some pretty amazing people involved in it. Two of those people, most everyone in Walker County, Alabama know. Pastor, Anthony Dewayne "Bubba" Hallman and his precious wife, Sha (Shara) Hallman. In 2021, Sha had a severe car wreck and sutained devastating damage to her facial structure, especially on the left side of her face. Since the wreck, she has had to cope with severe pain and limited use of her jaw. The scar tissue added to the original damage keeps her from being able to open her mouth fully and she has limited motion with it. She has been waiting on a visit with a specialty surgeon to see her and hopefully, get it fixed. At the very least, to improve her current situation. Sha finally had an appointment with the surgeon. The great news is that they can do her surgery ASAP! Not-so-great news - It's going to cost almost $8,000. Bubba will have to take time off work I'm sure, to help with care around surgery time. The 401K has been used already to help with bills and time off, to keep from losing their home. With all of the stresses of the medical issue itself, they don't need the stresses of worrying about being able to pay for this much needed surgery. I'm going to include messages here, between Sha and her sister, Jeri Sanford, with their permission. It lays out what is needed and what this surgery would do... ~~~~~ From Sha: "They will have to do 16 extractions, 10 implants, bone grafts, scar tissue revision from the scars down the left side of my face that is keeping me from being able to open my mouth, plus put me to sleep. It’s total $39,494 (*This proceedure has been changed and will now cost approximately $8,000*) After dental and health insurance is applied we still have $8,000 that we have to pay out of pocket to be able to have the surgery. They don’t have a payment plan, so we have to have the full out of pocket amount before we can get my surgery scheduled. They asked me this morning if I wanted to go ahead and schedule it, and if we had the money they were available to do the surgery asap, but they understand we need some time to try to get the money together first. But this surgery will fix not only my teeth but everything, and they will correct me being able to open my mouth like I should all at one time." ~~~ Let's come together and help this couple that so selflessly helps everyone else.
