<div><strong>Our worst nightmare</strong>

<div>But in January 2025, our world was shattered when she was diagnosed with <strong>Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma</strong>, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. It all started as a small lump inside her nose, one that just kept growing. After undergoing an MRI, biopsy, and bone marrow tests at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, our worst fears were confirmed. Nothing could have prepared us for this devastating diagnosis.

<div>Frankie is now at the beginning of her toughest battle. She is currently enduring six months of intensive chemotherapy, spending more time in the hospital than at home. In May, she will need six weeks of radiotherapy in London (far from home in Bristol), followed by 12 to 18 months of maintenance chemotherapy.

<div>No family is ever prepared for this. As a grandparent, as a parent, you would do anything to take away their pain. And while we can’t take away the pain, we can try to ease the burden for Frankie and her parents, Chante and Harry.
</div>

<div>This is why we are raising funds—to allow Frankie’s parents to stay by her side every single day, without the added stress of financial worries. Your donations will also help family members travel to Bristol to offer emotional and practical support, as well as cover accommodation and expenses while Frankie undergoes treatment in London. <strong>UPDATE: Frankie has been accepted for specialist treatment at the Princes Maxima Centre in the Netherlands. The estimated cost for the treatment is £40,000 and not covered by the NHS. Some of the donations already made will help cover travel and accommodation but we have extended the campaign to include this treatment.</strong>
