I am reaching out because my employer recently cut my hours to just 12 a month, which has made it extremely difficult to keep a roof over my head. This sudden change has left me struggling to cover basic living expenses, and I am doing everything I can to stay housed and maintain stability in my life. The uncertainty and stress of not knowing if I’ll be able to pay for rent and essentials has been overwhelming, but I am determined to keep going and find a way through.
<br>
<br>
 All funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward keeping me housed. Your support will help me cover rent and other essential expenses, giving me the breathing room I need to get back on my feet. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in my life and help me stay safe and secure during this challenging time.

<br>
 Any and all help is greatly needed and immensely appreciated. Thank you for considering supporting me—your kindness and generosity mean the world to me.

Help Me Stay Housed After Job Cut

<div>Hello,

</div>

<div>My name is <strong>Bill Floyd</strong>/but many know me as <strong><em>Gwyllm Llwydd</em></strong>, which I have used for my art projects for over 3 decades.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This past year has been very hard for me. In 2024, I had two falls—one injured my right hip, and the other, in late November, left me with a cracked rib. Soon after hurting my chest, I got a chest infection that led to ongoing lung problems. I was bedridden on and off for six months. Because of this, I couldn’t support my wife and myself as I used to. I lost work, and when I did find jobs in the summer, I could only manage half days or less because I was always exhausted.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Since then, things have become even more difficult. Right now, I can’t pay rent. bills

</div>

<div> or afford to move somewhere cheaper. On top of my health problems, I also need a lot of dental work, which I’ve had to delay because I can’t afford it.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I am hoping to get us moved to a less expensive place, hopefully with a small backyard where I can regroup and recreate a business that is less arduous (I have been running a painting business since the late 1990s). I am looking for gainful employment as well.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Our SS doesn't cover rent, so work and selling my art have been our support. At this point, no one is hiring 74-year-old artists/painters.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>How the Funds will be used:

</div>

<div>The money raised from this GoFundMe will be used to help course-correct and establish a more sustainable living condition for my wife and me.

</div>

<div>Currently, we are paying $2,600.00 a month for rent, excluding all utilities. To stay housed and to move in the next couple of months, we would need.

</div>

<div>5200.00 2 months' rent at the present home to organize

</div>

<div>4000.00 moving deposit (estimate based on first month and last month's rent.)

</div>

<div>12000.00 Dental (Hopefully could be done in increments)

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Funds raised here will help tide us over the next couple of months. This time will be used to find local support programs to assist with future rent and living costs, seek out a new home, and establish a new source of income that is more sustainable with my health and age.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thanks Ever So Much:

</div>

Support Gwyllm & family move to Stability

<div>Hi, my name is Ellen, and I am asking for help with my real estate taxes. First of all, let me say, I hate, HATE, to ask for help... but, I have found that since I am now older, and have have many health challenges the last few years, (heart/vascular disease, arthritis in my spine, hip, lower back, and knees, and mental decline), and since having covid, my already existing conditions have worsened, leaving me unable to work. I find that I have no choice, but to ask for help. I am trying to make ends meet, on a small SS income, as well as trying to help my son, who is learning disabled. I have fallen behind on the payment plan I was on for my real estate taxes, and to add insult to injury, the auditor's office has more than doubled the valuation of my house... So, I am in a very hard spot.
</div>
<div>Anything you can contribute would be so wonderful, no amount is too small... Afterall, many small things, can add up to a wonderful big thing in the long run. Just wanted to say, I appreciate you all, and am sending you all so much love..Ellen
</div>

Please help me save my house!!!

<div>Over the past year, since the passing of her own mother, Dorothy, Diane’s health has been in decline. She has had trouble with her voice, breathlessness, fatigue, aches and most recently abdominal pain. Her primary care doctor has sent her to specialist after specialist, each of which has told her that she looks healthy and they don’t know what’s going on. Throughout this time we’ve been asking for a CAT scan of her abdomen. As she’s on Medicare, her docs have continually denied or delayed this request as they didn’t want to spend the money.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the past few weeks her symptoms have become more severe and we were able to <em>finally</em> get<em> </em>a CT scan scheduled. Yesterday the results from the scan came in and they are not good.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Diane has two large tumors on her liver. She also has a blood clot between her liver and her spleen and fluid around her lungs. One of the tumors is 11CM, which is big. Today she had an MRI and afterword the doctor discussed three possibilities. He said that there is no cirrhosis, no scarring. He says they need to do a biopsy during this coming week. He also stated there are two large masses in the liver. This could be cancer in the bile duct. This is unlikely to have metastasized from another location in the body.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Currently there’s no reason to keep her in the hospital as the resources she needs won’t be available until after this 3 day weekend. She’s home now and resting. Tomorrow (Sunday) she will be surrounded by healers and priestesses who who will be doing energy and plant medicine work over the next few days before she dives back into the Western Medicine system. We are hoping we can get her into UCSF rather than Memorial, which has a poor record with this kind of care. We are going to coordinate a group prayer/ritual for her this Sunday night. I’ll post information on how you can tune in and participate soon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Diane is very low-income and lives very simply. I’m a creative entrepreneur and am currently self-employed. We don’t have a rainy day fund prepared for something like this. We are asking for anyone who has abundance in her community to please contribute to our little family so we can have the resources and time capacity to focus our attention on getting her healed. Please donate if you can.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ll keep everyone updated as things progress.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love,
</div>

He was playing in a park when a friend accidentally pierced his right eye with a large branch. The branch shredded Adonis’s eye and the tissue around it.  Over the past year he has endured four surgeries to clean out the damage and splinters, sew up the eye itself, cosmetically repair the top and bottom eyelids, and reconstruct the tear duct. He also had a successful procedure to save the retina. This procedure restored our hope, and gave us faith that he might be able to see fully again!  <br /> <br />All of our ophthalmologists and surgeons at both Kaiser Permanente and USF have been wonderful. Even so, Adonis has endured partial blindness for 18 difficult and painful months.<br /> <br />Adonis has only one procedure left, to replace the cornea and lens of his right eye.  We are humbly asking our community for support to get us past this finish line.  Due to COVID-19 I have been unemployed; Adonis has been able to work almost full time, but at minimum wage. As our resources have waned, we need your help.  Adonis’s final procedure and follow up will cost somewhere between $10,000 -$12,000. The young man who damaged Adonis’s eye has committed $5,000; we thus need an additional $7,000 to support my son’s struggle to regain his sight. All funds raised will go directly towards hospital and pharmacy costs.<br /><br /><br /> <br />Thank you for your consideration, for contributing, and for sharing with others.<br />Warmly,<br />Malia Everette and family<br />

Help Adonis Regain his Vision

Tom Beckett, who taught theatre in Portland for more than 20 years, died very unexpectedly this month at age 52. He leaves behind his wife Catherine, and sons Dylan (15) and Stryder (22). All donations will go to his family to support memorial costs, as well as health insurance and living expenses going forward. Please feel free to share this link with all who knew and loved Tom and his family.<br /><br />We would be ecstatic to meet or even exceed our goal - thank you for your contributions.

Support for the Beckett Family

August 5, 2014 we tragically lost one of the most kind and generous souls, my brother, Adam.  He leaves behind a grieving wife, Wichan and daughter, Taki. We are kindly asking for any donations at this time to help support his family during this very difficult time.<br /><br />We thank you for all the love and support you have shown to our family.
