My grandmother’s kitchen has become too dangerous to use — the cement ceiling is at risk of collapsing, and she could get seriously hurt or even die. We spoke with a carpenter, and the repair estimate came to €10,000. It breaks my heart not to be able to give her the safe, comfortable home she deserves after all she’s done for our family.
