<div>Modelface Comedy is a booking, production, and management company based in Asheville, NC. With a focus on diversity in comedy, fundraising and events all over the Southeast. We have become a beloved and integral part of the Asheville community and sadly lost all of our sound equipment and supplies to the massive flood of Hurricane Helene. Our storage unit was completely flooded by the French Broad River, taking on over 6 feet of water and destroying everything inside. Due to the amount of toxic chemicals and human waste in the water and ankle deep sludge we were unable to salvage anything.

<div>Over 250 folding chairs were lost, four speakers, a projector and screen, mic stands, tons of lighting equipment, and countless other cables and supplies collected over the last 12 years and used each weekend to provide quality entertainment in Asheville.

<div>It wasn't just microphones and cables destroyed but countless stickers, koozies and other merch. If everyone who has ever received a free Modelface Comedy sticker or pack of matches could give a few dollars we can be back up and running in no time.

<div>In addition to lost equipment we are also struggling with the financial loss of losing at least two months of shows during the busiest time of year in WNC. Realistically we won't be back up and running full speed until next summer.

Bring Laughter Back to WNC: Aid Modelface Comedy's Recovery

<div>Mrs. Yvonne Grant, a devoted single mother and outstanding custodian at North Broward Preparatory School, needs our help. On Monday, August 22nd, she experienced a life-changing stroke that left her unable to work. We are collecting donations to assist in paying medical bills, living costs, and expenses traveling to and from doctor's visit's as she does not drive. If you have the means to, please donate. This past Saturday my good friend and roommate Dillon Connolly was in a terrible body surfing accident that resulted in a broken neck and partially severed spinal cord. Dillon was rushed to the emergency room and has remained in the ICU since the accident. <br /><br />Anyone who knows Dillon can attest to how genuinely kind and helpful he is to everyone he encounters, as well as how deeply he cares for everyone in his life. Beyond his caring nature, Dillon is an extremely accomplished athlete and all around very active person. He was the captain of USC's Swim team, USC record holder, and an Olympic Trial Qualifier. <br /><br />At this time I would like to encourage everyone to reciporicate Dillon's kindness through donations which will benefit the Connolly family and aid in Dillon's recovery and medical expenses. <br /><br />Thank you and God Bless!
