Hi My name is Alan some friends call me Onefut. Let me start off by saying I think there are much more worthy causes out there than me and a lot of them. I'm only doing this page as it was suggested I should give it a go by some friends and my brother's in Longriders CMC Honestly I don't think it's that important, I'm not dying or anything I'm just an ordinary bloke with short wish list and a missing foot. Back in '95 at age 25 I had a bad motorcycle accident which by a miracle and some hard working doctors I survived but I was left with a mashed leg, a lot less blood and an arm that didn't work properly. I left hospital 3months or so later with a bit less leg than I went in with as right leg was amputated below the knee and I have a GK nail in my right femur due to missing bone but thank God my arm had started working and the nerves mended. Cut to AprilI this year I had a minor crash and my old faithfull 2000 Triumph Sprint RS, which I've had since about 2006 was wrecked and is still sat on a trailer looking sad. Once my broken wrist heald I got a cheap wee Kawasaki ER6f that I to keep me on two wheels but I can't ride it for more than half an hour before I get sore. I tried to sell it but it broke so I've been fixing it outside between the showers. So now at 55yrs old and close to my 56th birthday I've realised I can't keep fixing bikes in the British climate. Yeah I know boo hoo poor me. I was gonna write more info but deleted it as it sounds like I'm making a sob story Anyway long and short of it is I need a decent bike and I've loved Ducatis since I was a kid and my dream bike is the Ducati XDiavel. Now I'd love the new XDiavel V4 but that's knocking on the door of £30,000 with the touring kit and I don't know anyone rich enough to have £30k kicking about that they'd wanna give me. Being a poor crippled boy like tiny Tim in a Christmas carol, I can't get a fulltime job that would enable me to afford such a beast but there is an alternative, a used Ducati XDiavel Vtwin which if I'm lucky I could find for £6,500 if a bargain appears, which is rare and most are around £10,000 and again I don't know anyone with a spare £10k in loose change. So if you feel led to help in some way to share this page or even donate £1 then I'd be immensely grateful and I'll just need to find another 9,999 people to help out a little. If by some huge miracle enough is raised to get me a bike outright then I'll find a worthy home for the Kawasaki ER6F I have and give it them. If by some God given miracle I can get the new XDiavel then I'll still give away the ER6f but I'll be doing it with an even bigger smile and someone can have my old Sprint as a project. Anyway thanks for reading my nonsense and thank you for helping me to keep riding motorbikes comfortably for the next however many years by at least sharing this page.
