About two years ago, I made the decision to turn my life around and start building a better future for myself. With help from my family, I moved back to an area where I have family nearby and a local support group, and I’ve been working hard to make better choices and become more independent. Even with that progress, I’ve been struggling financially lately. A bunch of back-to-back car issues, including unexpected transmission repair costs even though I have a warranty, on top of my car payment, car insurance, gas, groceries, and everyday bills, has steadily kept me with almost no money left and has started to drag me under financially. I’m starting this fundraiser to help cover the essentials that keep me going day to day: bills, groceries, gas, my car payment, and ongoing car repair payments. I’m not looking for long-term support, just a little one-time help to give me some momentum and help me catch my breath while I keep working toward stability. Any extra support would also help me save for an apartment for my girlfriend and me as we work toward having a place of our own on a tight timeline. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
