As you know, the situation in Gaza is becoming increasingly desperate. People’s strength is beginning to wane and reason is running out. It is precisely now that they need us all the most. When did we decide that they could manage on their own? Let them know that this is not the case! When did we decide that supporting these people is no longer important? I implore you, let us not abandon them. They do not deserve this. The children in Khan Younis are waiting for our help to buy exercise books, coloured pencils or chicken wings for their families. Let’s not abandon them.

There has never been much in Gaza, but now there is even less. The spectre of a new famine looms ever closer with each passing day. And what remains is expensive – very expensive. This family is in desperate need of help. Please, let’s not abandon them. If you can help, or know someone who can, even a little help can go a long way.

Amici, con il cuore in mano vi chiedo di aiutare Nermine e i suoi genitori Amal e Shaker. Potrei fare l’elenco di ciò di cui hanno bisogno ma in realtà hanno bisogno di tutto. Il terreno su cui è poggiata la tenda richiede una rendita mensile di 260€. La tenda si è rotta con le prime pioggie e non proteggerà questa famiglia dovesse piovere ancora. Nermine non chiede soldi per una tenda nuova che costerebbe almeno 600€ ma aiuto per riparare quella attuale. Il telefono di Nermine si è rotto e lei non ha più nessun mezzo per chiedere aiuto. Amal ha bisogno delle sue medicine. La famiglia sopravvive grazie ai prestiti dei vicini che devono rimborsare non appena possibile. Per favore, pensate anche a questa famiglia. Tante famiglie a Gaza vengono aiutate costantemente grazie alla gentilezza e generosità di tanti donatori che non li abbandonano. Anche questa famiglia ha bisogno di supporto.
