What they care about

NOW it the time for all good citizens to come to the aid of their country. The People invoke the Constitution’s Article 5 to add a NO CONFIDENCE vote! #Governors

My name is Jester Towncrier, and I'm hoping to embark on a cross-country journey to educate Americans about their constitutional rights and the power they hold to demand change. Inspired by the current political climate and my experiences as part of the Occupy Wall Street movement, I feel compelled to act now. I plan to perform as a town crier from the 1770s, ringing a bell and sharing the message that citizens can petition their governors and invoke Article 5 of the Constitution to hold our leaders accountable. This mission is deeply personal to me. As a survivor of the 9/11 attacks at the World Trade Center, I've seen firsthand the impact of government decisions and the importance of standing up for what's right. I believe our democracy is at a turning point, and it's up to us—the people—to protect it. My performances will be peaceful, informative, and designed to inspire others to get involved, whether by contacting their governors, showing up at their state houses, or simply spreading the word. The funds I raise will go directly toward ensuring my safety and the success of this mission. I'll need personal security, travel expenses, flyers, permits, and the flexibility to move quickly if needed. My hope is to gain recognition as an official Town Crier, which could provide legal protection as I continue this work. If you share my concerns and want to help protect our democracy, please consider supporting my journey. Your donation will help me stay safe and amplify this important message. Together, we can make a difference. Find your local "Indivisible" group or attend a "No Kings" rally, there is always strength in numbers. “The Congress, whenever 2/3 of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or on the application of the legislatures of 2/3 of the several states, shall call a Convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intense and purposes, as part of this constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of 3/4 of the several states, or by conventions and 3/4 thereof, as one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress provided that no amendment, which may be made prior to year 1888 shall any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article: and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.” It’s right there in black and white as written by the founders, and encouraged to be invoked by George Washington in time such as these. 34 States to invoke it. 38 States to make it law. Vote accordingly.
