<div>On the night of May 23, 2025, at around 9:28 pm, my dear friend Edith Navar’s husband, Fabian Limas, became the victim of a senseless and tragic shooting on the 710 freeway. Fabian was driving home after a long double shift, like so many hardworking fathers do. But that night, someone fired two shots—one struck his work truck and the other struck him, leaving him in the ICU.

<div>Fabian is a devoted husband and a loving father to three beautiful kids. He’s always been the first to lend a helping hand and never the one to ask for help, no matter how tough times got. Now, his family is facing unimaginable challenges as he fights for his life and future.

<div>Thanks to God’s grace, Fabian is stable and in good spirits. But his road to recovery is long and uncertain. Right now, he’s completely paralyzed from the waist down. His collarbone is shattered, leaving his right arm immobile. While doctors are hopeful he’ll regain movement with time and therapy, the journey ahead is daunting—and expensive.
