As a child, I was abandoned into state custody because of my parents' addiction. I spent years in abusive foster homes, surrounded by people who didn't believe in me or want to see me do better. Growing up without support made it hard to imagine a brighter future, but I always hoped things could change. If I had known then what I know now, I would have made a plan to be financially stable and secure my career. Today, I'm determined to start over and build a life I can be proud of. I'm looking for housing and a job, but without a car or anyone to sponsor me, it's been incredibly difficult. Every day, I work toward finding stability and independence, even when the odds feel stacked against me. Donations to this fundraiser will help me get transportation for work and save money for an apartment. These are essential steps toward rebuilding my life and creating a future where I can thrive.
