Hi, My name is Sister Shelly Kelly and my Husband is Pastor Brian Kelly of the King James Bible Baptist Church of Manhattan, In New York City, NY. My husband is renound for his prayer life of praying up to three hours a day or more and his life of faith has been described as reminiscent that of George Mueller. People have said to us that we remind them of Mr. And Mrs. Hyles. This is what others say. We don’t think so. Anyway we live by faith and pay our church rent of $12,112 a month totally by faith. Last month Brian prayed Lord you can save by many or by few, so you can save our church by one donation or many then with less than a day left and down to two hours before legal action was taken against our church by lawyers for our landlady, a CAT LOVER who loves Dr. Peter S. Ruckman, the King James Bible and Bible Believing churches, loved our tract palace, an armory of the gospel in tract and Bible form in multiple languages with the goal of reaching NYC for Christ, and one check came in for $15k. They called the tract palace “the cat palace” because of the chick tracts, comics library and Bibles being guarded from Manhattans infamous rodents by book shop cats, named “Pete” Dr. Peter S. Ruckman, “Jack” Jack T. Chick, “Gail” Dr. Gail Riplinger, Jenny, and Cleo. Also by prayer against child molestation last month a bus rolled over killing a level 2 child molester 300 feet in front of our car where Traffic moved backwards (Psalms 40:14, Psalms 70:2, Isaiah 1:4, Isaiah 28:13, Jeremiah 7:24, Jeremiah 15:6) Also by prayer against corruption the beams snapped on a high rise in our neighborhood revealing corruption resulting in criminal charges being gathered and no loss of life. Also by prayer attendance in Broadway shows are diminished and being shut down at alarming rates. Also by prayer almost 30 souls were saved from marching into the lake of fire in the past month. Brian is famous and even teased for his telethon for the rent that he does every month on Facebook. We aren’t like Br. Mueller because we let the body of Christ know our needs. The ministry is larger than any one, two or five people could support with a “regular job”. Both Brian and I are in full time ministry. We are looking for churches to come visit that would like to take us on for support as we go on deputation where we share our ministry with them.  Right now we are gearing up for starting a Sunday School in the tract palace back rooms calling it “The treehouse” a five story walk up for Sunday school aged children and getting the Jesus Bus safe for picking up children. We need air conditioning in the church because it gets up to 108 degrees in there. The cheapest way to do it is by getting more electric and using portable air conditioners. In order to plug everything in we would need more outlets. The estimate for the Jesus Bus and the electrical is what this entails. I already received 650 for one portable air conditioner, it just won’t plug in without expanding the electricity and this is cheaper than 15-30k for replacing the failed central air unit. Update: People asked for us to get estimates for real central air replacement, the first was for both indoor and outdoor units for 30k, the second was given for free from a nice Russian man this morning.  He said he’d worked with this same unit for years. He said the cheapest is 6-7 thousand to replace the condenser only (outside) and that he believes the unit will work giving the church central air, I believe he said to replace the indoor part would be 13k but he believes that would be unnecessary. So the cheapest we could get by fixing the central air is $6-7, he could do this by next Tuesday. He will be sending written estimates.  Pastor Brian and Sister Shelly Kelly

Hi, my name is Shelly Nichols Kelly with the King James Bible Baptist Church of Manhattan and their Printed tract ministry. We have a tract palace and storefront church at 1026 6th Ave, suite #201, and #502 Ny, Ny, 10018 from where we frugally and with Gods wisdom and help organize and distribute chick tracts and bibles to every borough in NYC in over 100 languages. Tract Packet given to Bengali and Arabic Speaking Muslims May 27-30, 2026 The goal is to get 100 street preachers on 100 corners of NYC passing out 100,000 chick tracts. We provide chick tracts and bibles in as many different languages as we can get our hands on, so that when people come to the tract blast they are getting an incredible missionary experience that exists in no other part of the United States. We put up the participants in the hotel across from the church, our modest 1bd rent stabilized Queens apartment or hostels made for mission work like living waters, bring in special speakers and provide home cooked, and catered healthy meals in our church kitchen for all the participants and the homeless in the community including taking participants to Katz deli on the last day to use the famous long line chick tract passer phrase “Thank you for coming”. The tract blast is like a boot camp for chick track passers and street preachers where you are given a table stocked with tracts and a crowded NYC street corner in a safe part of the city to preach and pass out tracts and get to experience boots on the ground 5 blocks from Times Square known as the crossroads of the world for the many languages spoken here. Foreign Chick Tracts We only charge the participants $100 for 4 days but the bulk of the cost for the event is provided from donors like you that care about the furtherance of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hello, Nov 4, 2025, is Pastor Brian Kelly’s 50th Birthday. To celebrate his birthday, and thirty years of street ministry, and prepare for the opening of a Bible institute, we are doing a fundraiser for a library bookshelves for the church. These bookshelves will be floor to almost the ceiling. Some backstory on the memorial of how the books were acquired. Brian's mom, Roberta, died at age 59 after two strokes around age 49. Brian was age 14-24. Roberta was eating her lunch, and the facility didn’t strap her down. She fell out of the chair and broke her hip. For a week, she was screaming, and nobody knew why. An Indian doctor came in, called for an x-ray or MRI, and found the broken hip. She gave up and then died in her sleep when she was 59 years old. She went home to glory, safe in the arms of Jesus. Brian and his brothers and father each received a settlement, and Brian used his to purchase a vast King James Bible Defense library. The many books in this Peter S. Ruckman library, with sentimental connection to the memory of his mother Roberta, need a home, but the only way in Manhattan is to go up vertical as high as possible. We were able to find used Parker House bookshelves on Facebook marketplace to save money. We acquired 8 sections and now just need to purchase more as more sections come up for sale.
