<div>I am married to my husband Dwight. Several years ago Dwight was in a very serious car accident that prevented him from working for over a year which caused a serious deficit in our income because he was the primary wage earner in our family. I work, however, I only work ten months out of the year working for the school system and my income was no where near what he earned therefore we became behind on many of our bills which I found myself juggling about because of delays on disability payments from one of his employers and he was not able to return back to work after almost 14 months. We had some very understanding debtors but we were still behind on a lot. I tried hard not to dip into our retirement(s) however we had to do what we could to try to maintain and keep our home.  Once Dwight returned to work we were hoping for things to get back on track and I ended up in the hospital for emergency surgery for an infection. I was in the hospital for fourteen days being treated for the infection to make sure it was completely gone. I have worked on my job for almost 18 years as a bus driver and I had never been out of work this long and I can tell the stress it has caused my family because they have never seen me "down" for this long ever. I think mentally it has affected me more than I expected because I have never had to be cut on as severely as I had and the recovery process is taking some time. I am currently receiving disability which comes once a month and I am grateful but I do wish I had more to contribute to my families needs and that everything wasn't such a burden to my husband. I want to thank all who are willing to assist with our situation and if not - please know that I still thank you for gaining the knowledge that there are people who do have a need far greater than what others seem to understand because things happen to people that they do not expect to happen and if they could change the outcome of what has happened to them they would. I appreciate this platform for offering the opportunity to people to ask others for what they need assistance with from people who do care about others.
