Hello everyone, my name is nakenna Edelman..about Two weeks ago, me and my family’s world was completely shattered. We tragically lost our beloved animals inside our home, including my cat Bink and my grandma Lona’s precious baby puppy, Tallie. To us, they weren’t just pets they were our best friends, our comfort, and our family. Right now, we are trapped in a living nightmare. My dad Jason, my little sister Kaelynn, and I are carrying an overwhelming amount of grief, and every single day is a struggle. My grandma Lona is completely heartbroken and facing a very deep depression without Tallie by her side. To help us cope mentally and physically, Kaelynn and I will be getting kittens soon not to replace the family we lost, but to help us start to heal. We desperately want to help my grandma smile again. About three years ago, she got Tallie from a very sweet family in Marysville, Washington. Unfortunately, we cannot remember their names or exactly where they live, but my grandma is hoping against hope to find them or a baby Chihuahua from that same line. We live on a very limited income (housing and EBT), and life has been incredibly tough, so we are looking for anyone who might have baby Chihuahuas available very affordably, or any leads on the original family from Marysville. My little sister is just starting her teenage years, and lately she's been struggling with depression. It's been tough watching her go through this—she's not eating right, losing weight, and seems so sad and sensitive most days. I know how outgoing and lovely she truly is, and I want to remind her that she's not alone and that her big sister cares deeply about her. Recently, her phone completely shattered. For her, having a phone is more than just a convenience—it's essential for school, alarms, and especially for staying in touch with friends. Communication is a big deal for a 15-year-old, and I want to make sure she can reach out and feel connected, even on her hardest days. I'm hoping to surprise her with a new phone. This gift would show her that she's thought about and loved, and that her struggles are seen. I want to support her in every way I can, and any help from this community would mean the world to us. Hello, my name is Nakenna and I’m raising funds for my dad, Jason. He’s 50 years old, a father of five daughters, and right now he’s facing some of the toughest challenges of his life. Jason is currently homeless and searching for work, but he’s also battling cancer in his face, which makes daily life and caring for our family incredibly difficult. Even though he didn’t believe it at first, a walk-in clinic confirmed that the recurring scab on his face is a mild form of cancer. Despite everything, he’s doing his best to look after us girls and his 69-year-old mother, but it’s a struggle to meet even the most basic needs like clothing and food. His shoes are worn out, and he doesn’t have the proper clothes to start a new job. I want to surprise my dad with some support to help him get back on his feet. The funds raised will go directly toward new clothes, shoes, food, blankets, and a tent—essentials that will make a real difference for him right now. More than anything, I want him to have a Christmas to remember, filled with hope and comfort. Jason is funny , outgoing , intelligent, and most of all he has the biggest loving heart.
