Help a Grieving Mother and Her Children Find Stability

To everyone who may not yet have heard the news, Jason unexpectedly passed away from a car accident on October 30, 2020. To say that we are shocked is an understatement and unfortunately we are not prepared to pay for funeral services at this time. <br />Jason was a loving son, father, and amazing brother, uncle, nephew and cousin who touched the lives of those around him. He has the biggest heart and would give the shirt off his back if needed. If you knew him you’d know he was such a jokester. Always making everyone laugh. <br />He will be deeply missed. <br />As a family we have created this GoFundMe account to help pay for the unexpected funeral expenses. This is my Sister Frieda Faciane Jenkins, who all would describe as energetic, passionate, and hard working. Over the past three years Frieda started experiencing fatigue and progressive muscle function loss. During this time she has seen countless doctors to try and determine the cause of these symptoms to no avail.<br /><br />Unfortunately, in June Frieda was rushed to the hospital due to breathing difficulty and she had to be intubated. It was in the hospital where she and her family learned that she has a rare disease called 'CHRONIC INFLAMMATORY POLYNEUROPOTHY" which affects the nerves that send signals to the muscles. She is currently on a ventilator and feeding tube.<br /><br />To minimize the stress on her and her family during this difficult time we're asking for donations in any amount to Freida via a “GoFundMe" account we have set up. Donations will go toward current and future medical expense including medication, equipment, food and treatment.<br /><br />Frieda has recently been moved from a Critical Care Facility to Home Care so that the treatment needed for this disease can be administered.<br /><br />Frieda is a loved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Niece to all of us.<br /><br />Please share this on your social media page and with anyone or company you believe will be willing to help with our cause.<br /><br />First and foremost we are asking for everyone's prayers, and positive energy for strength and recover of my Amazing Sister Frieda.<br /><br />With Love and blessing from our Family to yours.....

Hello as many of you know I have been battling with liver failur for 3 years. Well my time to receive a transplant has come due to my liver failing. There are many obstacles ahead of me that I will have to face mentally, physically and finacilly. Once I receive the transplant I am required to relocated within 2 miles of the hospital for 60 days at which time my husband will have to miss work to take care of my many needs and you may know we are a single income family. Once I get to go home we will be required to have home healthcare and face a long road to recovery. Money raised will be used towards mounting medical bills and post transplant care along with rehab. <div>My name is David Billings and I’ll be turning 71 years old in October.   I have lived in Slidell since 1969 and am a Veteran, having served in the Army.

<div>Over the last several years I’ve had a lot of health issues which affected my ability to work and afford better living accommodations and transportation. 2 years ago I had a heart attack and had stints put into my heart and returned to work. After that, I fell and broke my hip and things have gone downhill from there.

<div>I have an extensive work history in and around Slidell dating back many years. I am in dire need and am reaching out to ask if there’s anyone that would be willing to help me. I am living in an old trailer that has a lot of mold and my doctors are telling me that this is the cause of my recurring lung and respiratory issues. I am hoping to raise enough funds to purchase a vehicle to get to and from doctors appointments and for personal transportation as well as finding another suitable place to live. Currently, I have no running transportation. The photos attached show the conditions of my home but I don’t know how much longer I can continue to stay here.
