<div>Over the past month, I’ve faced the challenge of being without a vehicle, which has made daily life much more difficult for my family and me. I’m currently working hard to prepare my house for winter and continue my online schooling, but not having reliable transportation has made it tough to get to appointments, hand in applications in person, and access the library for my studies. I’ve had to rely on the mothers of my children to keep them during their school weeks, since I haven’t been able to get them to and from school. My children—Noah (5), Jacob (11), and Kaira (14)—have had to miss out on Fall sports and other activities because their moms have full-time jobs and can’t do it all on their own. It’s been a difficult adjustment, but I’m determined to get back on track for their sake and mine.

<div>Recently, I’ve been given the opportunity to get a <strong>1996 Chevy 4x4</strong>, which would allow me to regain my independence and better support my family. The funds raised will go toward registering, insuring, and making a payment toward the vehicle. I’m grateful for any support, and as a token of appreciation, I’d like to offer firewood to those who are able to make a significant contribution. I also want to give back this winter by providing snow removal services to those in need, just as I did when I lived in Hamilton—helping elderly, disabled, and busy neighbors with their driveways gave me a sense of self-worth and connection to my community.

Help Joe Rebuild His Life: Support his Recovery and Provide for His Children<br /><br />We urgently need your support to help Joe, a dedicated father, brother, and friend, overcome the devastating aftermath of an unprovoked attack. After enduring a harrowing 24-hour fight for his life, Joe has awoken to a new reality filled with physical and emotional wounds. His journey to recovery is filled with challenges, including a major blown disk in his neck that requires surgery and permanent blindness in his right eye. The doctors are uncertain if future surgeries can restore his vision. Joe's injuries also include horrific facial fractures, a shattered eye socket, a nose in need of reconstruction, and broken teeth.
This unimaginable tragedy has not only robbed Joe of his physical well-being but has also jeopardized his ability to provide for his family. The extensive medical treatments and future surgeries will force him out of work for an extended period, possibly a year or more. Despite his tireless efforts to secure resources, this tragic situation has cost Joe his job and his home. The weight of these challenges is immense, and we implore you to join us in offering prayers, support, and much-needed financial assistance during this tragic period.

It’s been almost 3 weeks since Joe was attacked, leaving him with horrible wounds physically and mentally. As of right now Joe has permanent damage to his right eye causing him to be fully blind. They do not know if surgery can fix the blindness in the future. His eye socket will need to be completely reconstructed along with his nose needing surgery, as well as his broken teeth. With all of this happening and the surgeries he will need at a later date, this leaves Joe out of work for a long period of time (a year or more), and even with all the resources he has tried to obtain, this whole situation has cost Joe his job and his home.
