<div>Zain was born at 26 weeks with intrauterine drug exposure. After 5 months in the NICU and multiple surgeries, he was released from the hospital to his foster mom. After a year and a half, he was finally adopted on October 29th, 2025, by his foster mom, who is a single parent. He is now 2 years old and has had too many hospital stays to count over his short 2 years. On February 25th, he was discharged after having his adenoids removed the day before. That night, he was readmitted to St. Francis Children’s Hospital with a fever of 104.5 and respiratory symptoms. He tested positive for Human Metapneumovirus and Coronavirus NL63. The next morning, he was moved to the Pediatric ICU and has been there for 2 weeks now. <strong>March 2nd, he was intubated first thing in the morning and has been fighting hard to overcome these viruses since!</strong> His mom has been by his side, missing work, and has no vacation time because of all his past hospital admissions and doctor's appointments. Therefore, she has no income during this time. <strong>The money donated will help pay living expenses and help relieve some of the financial and emotional burden that is placed upon her during this difficult time.</strong>

Help Zain and His Mom Through This Tough Time

Haylee went into the hospital on Monday January 11th, due to not being able to stop getting physically sick. While at Cox, they found a cyst on Haylee's Liver and her enzymes were sky high.  Wednesday night they were able to stabilize her enough to life flight her to Barnes in St. Louis.  At this time, Haylee is fighting for her life with her liver shutting down in the ICU currently on a ventilator on the top of the list for a liver transplant.  A struggle going forward is going to be travel expenses, lodging, meals for the family, with the transplant Haylee is looking to be in St. Louis for at least 2-3 months after surgery. We are asking for prayer first and foremost, and we know that times are tough for everyone, but if you have any money to spare for travel expenses and help for the family, it would be greatly appreciated.  Barnes is over 200 miles away from home, and currently the family is traveling back and forth switching off being with Haylee, as only one person a day can be with her from 12-8.  Haylee is a mother to KK, who is her world, a wife to Dustin, who is her everything, a daughter to Jeff and Amanda, who are her heroes, and loved by so many other family and friends.  Please keep those prayers coming and again, any monetary help is greatly appreciated.
