On Christmas Eve, I took my kids out to a family dinner to make the holiday special for them. When we returned home, our hearts sank—we had been robbed. Many of our belongings were gone, and it was a devastating blow during what should have been a joyful time. I immediately reached out to different organizations for help, but unfortunately, my landlord has rejected every offer of assistance. This has left me feeling overwhelmed and unsure of where to turn next. I am doing everything I can to rebuild and provide for my kids, but the financial strain is more than I can handle alone. The funds raised here will go directly toward paying all my bills and making sure my family has the stability we need to recover from this setback.
