<p>My name is Steven Rodriguez, and I’m reaching out for support as my family and I navigate a challenging time. Just two weeks ago, I underwent a liver transplant. While I’m grateful for the care I’ve received and the chance to recover, the surgery has put a significant strain on our finances. My wife Hiroko, our daughter Alivia (who turns 13 in a few days), my son Steven Jr. (17), and my stepson Tyler (30) are all doing their best to support me, but we’re facing some tough months ahead.

<p>Because of my surgery, I’ve used up all my vacation, sick, and personal days at work. I’m currently receiving 60% of my pay for 30 days, but after that, our income will drop even further. The doctors have told me I’ll need at least six months to recover before I can return to work. We’ve been relying on our savings to get by, but those funds will only last us through November. Our biggest concerns right now are covering rent, utilities, and groceries so that my family can stay stable while I focus on healing.

<p>My main goal is to recover fully so I can get back to work and support my family again. In the meantime, any help with our essential bills would mean the world to us.
