<div>Our best friend, Luisa, lost her father to ALS in November of 2024. The journey of her father's illness and his passing took a significant toll on her and her family; both emotionally and financially. With grace, strength, and a heavy heart, she said goodbye to her Dad forever.

<div>Shortly after that, she was diagnosed with two different types of breast cancer
</div>
<div>(ER and HR2). She began treatment almost immediately, fighting tumors that were growing quickly. Through chemotherapy, and all that comes with it, Luisa has maintained hope and strength to the best of her ability. Chemo was debilitating, with so many side effects and symptoms worse than those brought on by cancer. She lost a lot of her physical energy, experienced brain fog, lost her hair, and faced so many other physical challenges just to fight for her life.

<div>Shortly before completing her chemotherapy, she was diagnosed with a third type of cancer -papillary thyroid cancer. A round of radiation began in January of 2026. Luisa had to work during radiation treatment, often experiencing exhaustion, sadness, frustration. However, the cost of her care has nearly bankrupted her financially. We are trying to help Luisa cover her medical bills and all the expenses that have come about since this fight for her life began.

<div>Please help us accomplish this goal for her, to help her move forward in life. We are hoping and praying that treatment is effective and her body and mind begin to heal. In the meantime, the bills continue to pile up, the medical appointments and follow ups continue, and Luisa carries on daily, pain or no pain.

Standing with Luisa Through Her Cancer Battle

Jessica Fuentes is a passionate Volleyball player. As many of you know, she suffered a sports injury and tore her anterior cruciate ligament and damaged her miniscus as well. She needs a knee surgery to have full function of the knee and go back to sports. Unfortunately, in order to get the surgery we have to pay $6000 out of packet before the surgery, if not paid, the surgery will be cancel. The surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, January 10th. Being a single mom with 3 girls and head of household, I am not currently financial stable to cover this cost. In addition, with all the doctors expenses and physical therapy later on. Jessica is a strong girl with incredible faith, positive attitude and with hope that she will go back to do what she loves the most which is play Volleyball. I am confident that God will help us to raise this money by Tuesday, January 9th.
