A Loving Farewell for Our Beloved Father

<div>On March 9, 2024, my youngest brother, Sam Delgado, was diagnosed with a Choroid Plexus brain tumor. He remained in the hospital throughout that weekend and had an operation the following Wednesday, March 13. The surgery was scheduled to last 5-7 hours, but lasted nearly 13 hours and succesfully removed a portion of the tumor. After an extensive surgery and the need for a blood transfusion, he was admitted to the PICU where he remained in a medically induced coma.

<div>On March 26, he had an embolization to attempt to cut off the blood supply to the remaining portion of the tumor. It was determined that the team would not be able to safely cut off the blood supply without damaging crucial parts of his brain. He was weaned off the sedatives and slowly woken up. Not the outcome we hoped for, but having him awake felt like a blessing in many ways! On March 31, Sam’s breathing tube was removed and he was placed on a BIPAP machine to assist with the transition. He quickly became alert and able to watch Spiderman and Toy Story, as we all know he loves to do!

<div>On April 29, Sam had a shunt put in place and on April 30, his chemo port was placed. Sam’s tumor is malignant and was treated with 2 rounds of chemo. His chemotherapy began May 13 at Scottish Rite. Follow up scans have shown no decrease in the size of the tumor, but no growth either which deems the disease stable. Again, not the hoped for outcome, but counting stability as a win against potential growth! Additionally, the chemo created necrosis (dead tissue which can mean a reduced blood supply to the tumor) around the tumor. Sam's medical team believes this is an opportune time to operate and attempt to remove the remainder of the tumor.

<div>Sam has been home for a few months now and has resumed to life as normally as possible given the current circumstances.
</div>

<div>The team at CHOA has been incredible and has loved him and our family so well. We are trusting in the Lord throughout this entire process and have been so grateful for our support system. Medical expenses can cause so much additional stress to an already stressful situation. I want to help my parents alleviate as much stress as possible during this time. Any donation is so helpful in relieving their financial burden and providing extra glimpses of hope in a scary time. 100% of you donations with will go toward medical expenses. <div>It's true, man down. A son, brother, father, veteran and friend is no longer with us. Gabe was a hustler! Someone who had discipline and was not afraid to put in work, sweat or bleed. Gabe was the happiest and healthiest he had been in many years. If you truly knew Gabe he did everything big. GO HARD OR GO HOME. His battles unfortunately were no smaller and he fought those beasts everyday, trying to find balance. I know with my whole heart he did the best he could. Gabe has beautiful children who will need us to help pick up and carry this load (He called so we will haul) The money raised here will be used for Gabe's services then the remainder to help provide ongoing care for his children. Write down memories of Gabe or record videos so that we do not let all the stories fade away. His kids will love to read or watch the life and times of the ever so handsome Gabe. Today, my family received news that just crushed every one of our hearts and turned our world upside down. My brother Remy was found deceased. We are left in shock &amp; heartbroken with a lot of questions at this time and not many answers.

<div>For those who know Remy and have been following us on Facebook, you know we have been working diligently to find him for the past couple of months. We are grateful that he has been found but are devastated by the circumstances.

<div>My family works hard to support each other and makes just enough to make ends meet. At this time, we are in dire need of financial support to do right by my brother and send him off in a way where we can all join together - family and friends from near and far. We want to share the good memories, laughter, and brightness that Remy brought to the room. His character and soul were like no other.

<div>Remy was a soul full of life and pure natural talent. He had a gift for the arts. He had a passion and gift for expressing himself through music, and a natural gift for drawing. What most will remember him by is his gift to change the atmosphere. His presence was beyond this world. He had a genuine love for all those he crossed paths with.

<div>As mentioned before, there is so much we still do not know surrounding the circumstances in which Remy died, but what we do know is how he lived. That's how we want to remember him and give him a proper memorial and funeral service.

<div>Remy did not have any life insurance policies and spent his days in Buffalo, NY just trying to make it through 1 day at a time.

<div>My family now asks for your generous donation to allow us to move forward in planning his memorial and funeral service. All donations will be used in direct support of the memorial service for Remy, the costs of the funeral home, and the coordination to get Remy's immediate family outside of Buffalo, NY to attend the services if they so desire but are limited by financial reasons.

Celebration of Life for Remington S. Brundige

My 1 year old son Dejon Irving known by family affectionately as “Chase” was tragically shot in the face while sitting innocently in a car seat in the back of his grandmothers’ SUV. Chase is still fighting for his life and with the grace of God has a long road to healing/recovery ahead of him. The GoFundMe page has been established to help cover medical , traveling, surgery, food , therapy expenses so that me and my family can continue to be with chase in the hospital and with him during his therapy sessions Baby Chase who is is also known as Dejon Irving has undergone 1 surgery to fix the bullet holes in his face. Chase needs one meow surgery to remove the 2nd bullet out his brain that just sitting right outside of his skull. chase has already prove he’s strong and we have many plans for my son recovery. He is in bad shape and has a long road ahead of him to recover and hopefully one day be able to take care of himself. Right now he is paralyzed with limited upper body mobility. While he has insurance to pay most if not all of his medical, we want to try to raise money to help his family during this time.
