Please help a single momma and her family get back on their feet after a devastating fire destroyed their home. They lost everything including a beloved pet. This family is in need of everything. They will need to find a new house and furnish it as well as purchase clothes, shoes, homewares, etc. While item donations are nice, having money to pay a security deposit, rent, and add a few new items to their new home will help them feel a sense of relief after such a devastating loss. Lupe and her family have given a lot to the community and they spend their Sundays feeding the homeless. Please consider donating to give her the help that she needs.

Help The Leyva Family after a Fire

Another young life has been taken from the South Bay too soon. Just  a week before his 21st birthday, Marc David Austin Guerreva was killed in a head on collision.   Marc was born and raised in Southern California. He loved the Cali beaches and weather, making it the perfect environment to play baseball year round.   He began his baseball journey at  West Torrance Little League and T.A.B.B.  Marc then took those skills and continued to play for Bosco High School, Palos Verdes High School, and finally finishing and graduating from West Torrance High School. After graduation, Marc joined the Army with aspirations of becoming an Airborne Ranger.  His dream was fulfilled, but sadly after an injury, he was medically  discharged.   Marc recently moved back to the South Bay, where he was able to spend his last few weeks with his closest family and friends. Marc loved everyone around him and always took the gift of being a role model seriously.  Please help support Marc's family during this tragic loss.  Any contribution can go a long way. We are deeply saddened to announce that Rhani Peters passed away on May 25th, 2016 after a hard fought battle against cancer. Rhani was a loving pastor, coach, husband, father, brother and friend who devoted his life to Christ. In these struggling times, we pray that you may help us out with donations to fund a funeral of 600+ in attendance. The funds are being directly sent to Rhani's wife, Rosalind Peters and being used for the funeral cost. And hopefully if there is enough left over it can be used for parshal living so the family will have enough time to mourn before returning to work.  We miss you so much Rhani, &amp; know you are in a better place now. His passing was ruled a SIDS death, and Catharine and Nick suddenly found themselves without their angel that they were just getting to know.  Facing this tragedy with incredible grace and depending strongly on each other as a couple, Catharine and Nick had just begun the grieving process, which included uplifting conversations of hope for the future, when horror struck again. One April 5th, 2016, Catharine found Nick deceased from a massive heart attack while the two were away together. She is now left without her son and without the love her life, all stripped away in less than a month’s time. We know Nick would be absolutely devastated knowing Catharine is grieving through this time of incredible loss without him by her side. We are hoping to reach our goal so that Catharine can have time to grieve these devastating losses (and have access to whatever helps her heal without worrying about living expenses and other financial concerns). This support will allow her to face the world when she is ready.
