What they care about

I'm Joshua Nash, a single dad to my two kids, Navia and Angie, and our dog Zena — she's not just a pet, she's family.

Zena is my dog, but to me and my two kids, Navia and Angie, Zena is family. She has been by our side through everything, and the love she gives our home means so much to all of us. Right now, I am asking for help because Zena is at an emergency clinic in Puyallup, Washington, and she needs urgent care that I cannot afford on my own. Zena has been diagnosed with pyometra, a severe and life-threatening uterine infection. She needs emergency surgery as soon as possible. I work construction and do everything I can to support my family on a single income, but the vet bills are roughly $9,000, which is more than I can manage while raising Navia and Angie. The thought of losing Zena is heartbreaking, especially because of how deeply my kids love her. She is not just a pet to us. She is part of our everyday life, our comfort, and our family.
