March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to increasing screening rates, promoting early detection, and educating the public about prevention. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in the U.S.

Celina and Mary's mother was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer on January 6, 2025. The news was devastating for our family, but we remained hopeful and determined to support her through every step of her treatment. Just this week, on the 19th, we received even more heartbreaking news: the cancer has spread to other parts of her body and is now considered terminal. This has been an incredibly difficult time for all of us, as we try to come to terms with the reality of her diagnosis and focus on making the most of the time we have left together. Our greatest wish—Mary's, mine, and our family's—is to make her last days as meaningful and joyful as possible. We want to give her the chance to experience the things she loves—whether that's going out to eat at her favorite restaurant, traveling to see a special place, or simply spending quality time with family and friends. These moments mean everything to us, and we want to create lasting memories that we can cherish forever. Any support would mean the world to our family during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will help us give her comfort, happiness, and love in her final days. Thank you for considering helping our family and for keeping us in your thoughts.
