Hi, I'm Jacob from Sioux Falls. The Sioux Falls Area Humane Society takes in 4,000 plus animals a year. Right now, they are asking the community for help with basic supplies: food, litter, blankets, cleaning supplies, and enrichment toys for the 400 plus pets currently in their care. I'm raising money to cut them one big check specifically for supplies. How this works: You donate here. Once we hit the goal of $2,500, I'll deliver 100% of the funds directly to the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society for their supply budget. I'll post the donation receipt plus a photo with Sioux Falls Area Humane Society staff so you see it got there. I'm not buying supplies myself. The Sioux Falls Area Humane Society knows their inventory and can stretch every dollar further with bulk purchasing. This way, they get exactly what they need when they need it. Our goal: $2,500 This covers a huge chunk of their monthly supply needs. To put it in perspective, that's about 500 bags of litter or 3 plus months of food for the dog kennels or warm blankets for every kennel this winter that's coming up. And every $10 really does help us get there. I have lived in the Sioux Falls area my whole life, and the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society has been our community safety net for pets since 1919.
