After moving to a new city two years ago, my daughter and I have faced more challenges than I ever imagined. As a single mom, I’ve struggled to find stable housing, and we’ve experienced periods of homelessness while trying to build a better life. The cost of living is overwhelming, and despite my best efforts, I haven’t been able to secure loans or extra support. On top of everything, I’ve been fighting a difficult custody battle to keep my daughter safe and with me, which has drained our resources even further. Right now, we’re on the verge of being homeless again. My car has started having issues, making it even harder to get to work and school. Everyday bills and rent are piling up, and the stress is affecting my ability to keep up with my college classes. I want nothing more than to provide a stable home for my daughter and to finish my education so I can give us both a brighter future. With your support, I hope to cover our immediate needs for rent, bills, and car repairs, so we can stay in our home and I can focus on completing college.
