13 days since we all said goodbye to my lovely boy I’m still numb and think he’s going to walk through the door The funeral bill arrived and it was more than I expected as I just wanted a perfect service with a celebration of Joshua so I didn’t want a basic option He deserved a special day as he was a very special young man I am still keeping the Gofundme running because I haven’t got enough to pay the final bill It’s not a position I thought I would ever be in You should never outlive your children Thank you again to all the kind people who have donated it really means so much

Thank you to everyone who donated the love and support from complete strangers has been overwhelming when Joshua was in hospital and I told him how people were sending money he cried and said how kind people were We used some of the donations to buy Joshua a new iPad with a keyboard and drawing pen as his hands became very swollen and it was easier for him he couldn’t get out of bed so this gave him something to do he also bought himself a expensive aftershave because he had always wanted it anything he wanted I tried to get him because every day was precious I am still keeping the Gofund page as the funeral and other expenses are still outstanding Paying for your child’s funeral is something you never expect to do

We said goodbye to my kind caring beautiful son Joshua The people who Joshua cared about and loved were able to celebrate his life The service was a reflection of his personality we had pictures and funny blogs that Joshua had made so we had tears and laughter He was such a special young man and everyone who met him knows exactly what I’m talking about
