Sakura came into our lives as a rescue, and from the moment we brought her home, we made a commitment to give her every opportunity to thrive. She is more than a dog—she is family, a loyal companion, and a bright, joyful presence in our lives every day. Recently, Sakura suffered a fractured knee that required urgent orthopedic surgery. At only seven months old, she faced a painful injury that threatened her mobility and future quality of life. Thankfully, her surgery was successful, giving her the chance to make a full recovery. The challenge now is the financial impact. Between emergency visits, diagnostic imaging, medications, hospitalization, surgery, and the rehabilitation still ahead, the costs have become overwhelming. We have exhausted many available resources, applied for assistance programs, and covered as much as we can ourselves, but we still need help. Sakura has handled this ordeal with incredible courage. Even during recovery, she remains affectionate, eager to learn, and determined to keep moving forward. Her resilience reminds us every day why she is worth fighting for.
