Dear Friends, We are reaching out with heavy hearts for My Dear Friend Cinthya’s cherished Yorkie Terrier mix, who just turned nine years old. Last year, she underwent surgery for the same kidney stone issue, which cost $3,000 and required a loan that is still being repaid today. Now, unfortunately, she is facing the same problem once again, and the situation has become even more urgent. Despite initial treatment with antibiotics and pain medications, her condition has worsened. She now suffers from pain, vomiting, and difficulty eliminating properly. The veterinarian has confirmed that she urgently needs surgery to remove the stones and prevent any life-threatening complications. The cost of surgery in the U.S. is prohibitively high, reaching up to $7,000, and we are exploring more affordable options in Mexico, where the surgery is estimated at about $1,300. However, there’s still the possibility of additional expenses if complications arise. We hope to raise as much as possible to cover not only the surgery but also follow-up care with a kidney specialist. While the exact costs are uncertain, we’ll keep everyone updated every step of the way. We are humbly asking for your support.
