Luis Rivera

Luis is raising funds for his wife during an incredibly painful time for their family. Her mother was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in Puerto Rico, and Luis is hoping to help make it possible for his wife to travel there and be by her mother’s side. Right now, they do not have enough savings to cover the cost of the trip, even though being able to see her mother means everything. This is especially heartbreaking because she has already lost her father to cancer, and she was able to be there with him through that journey. The thought of not having the chance to be with her mother now is devastating for all of them. The funds raised will help cover travel expenses so Luis’s wife can go to Puerto Rico as soon as possible, and they will also help her family with medical expenses during this difficult time. Luis is asking from the heart for support from anyone who understands the bond between a parent and child. Every son, daughter, brother, sister, father, and mother can imagine how important one more visit, one more conversation, and one more embrace can be.
