<div>My yoga journey began in 2001 after being diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis, an autoimmune disease that affected my kidneys. I've battled with many health issues: being in the ICU with a blood clot in my lung, bulimia, anxiety, panic attacks, debilitating fatigue, heart palpitations, side effects of medications and depression. Yoga has played a significant role in my recovery. My first Bikram Yoga class in 2002 was so difficult that I swore I would never take a Hot Yoga Class again! It wasn't until 3 years later in 2005, after having my 1st child and battling with Postpartum Depression that I would decide to make another go at it. It was one of the best decisions of my life!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With diligence and tenacity, training and encouragement from a world class Yoga Coach, Kim Tang, I have progressed enough to start competing in 2019 at the National &amp; International Yoga Championships and every year since then. I've traveled to Virginia, Kentucky, lowa, Philadelphia &amp; San Diego. I was voted 2nd place winner for the 2020 IYSF (International Yoga Sports Federation) Virtual Competition, placed 5th in Iowa 2022, 6th in Philadelphia 2023, &amp; recently placed 7th in the Women's Division 2024 USA Yoga Championships in San Diego. Placing in the top 10 for the past 3 years has been a huge accomplishment &amp; honor!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have tremendous love and gratitude for the gift of yoga. I completed the 2023 Kim Tang Yoga 500 hour Teacher Training Certification with the hopes of being able to encourage and inspire students to experience the same renewal, strengthening, and transformation that I continue to go through.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Saturday Jan 11, 2025, I placed 2nd in the USA Yoga Virtual Qualifier &amp; a few days later received the official invite to represent the United States in the 16th IYSF (International Yoga Sports Federation) World Championships in Malaysia April 5-6!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In order to relieve the financial burden on my family for the expenses of this once in a lifetime opportunity, I am humbly asking for help funding this trip (airfare, accommodations, training fees). I truly appreciate your consideration &amp; any contribution would be greatly appreciated! May God bless you &amp; your families! With love &amp; Gratitude, Jasmine Pinson, YogaMama3000

<div>Hello Friends and Family,
</div>
<div>Many of you know our nephew Angel Sandoval. Angel has been living with us for about 15 years. He has spent many of those years practicing yoga. He recently finished first in the 18-49 USA Yoga Men's National competition and has the opportunity to travel to the International Yoga Sports Federation World Cup in Saudi Arabia.
</div>
<div>In order to be in the best shape, he continues to train in anticipation of competing internationally.
</div>
<div>We have been supporting his pursuit of excellence because we very much appreciate his healthy and modest lifestyle. We would all be grateful for any financial assistance you can provide. In fact, for anyone donating at the $100 level or above, he will gladly give you private yoga lessons. He has been a certified instructor for many years.
</div>
<div>He is also proficient in Tai-Chi and The Wim Hof Method Breathing (incuding ice baths), if anyone is interested.
</div>
<div>Thank you for all of your support!

Help Missy Watson Fight Breast Cancer

Our Viking Warrior, Vera, is once again fighting cancer's tush despite its efforts to keep rearing its ugly head. Having gone through an initial battle with breast cancer in 2019 and 2020, Vera is now battling the same cancer which has spread to her brain.<br /><br />Despite it all, Vera has bravely and honestly shared this journey with so many of us and in turn, created an entire army of people who love and care so deeply for her and her family. <br /><br />In non-COVID times we'd be organizing meals, childcare, house cleaning, groceries... To make these hard times worse, we're limited in ways we can support Vera and her family. We want more than anything to go to her and help, but of course we cannot right now. <br /><br />Which is why we've launched this effort.<br /><br />It's one way we can rally our love and support for Vera amidst the pandemic. The hope is that we can raise some funds to help offset the medical bills and logistical needs while also showering Vera with our messages of love and support. <br /><br />Thank you!<br />Friends of Vera and her beautiful family<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/55013364_1616170501169572_r.jpeg" alt="55013364_1616170501169572_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />

I suffered from a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in my lung), was leaking over 9 grams of protein from my kidneys,  &amp; ended up in the ICU for a week. This challenging time made me reflect on the years of abuse I had put my body through bulimia, stress, depression, &amp; anxiety.<br /><br />My journey to health started when I was encouraged to try my 1st yoga class. <div>Hi, my name is Joanie Sanchez, and I am blessed to be the grandmother of Ryker Johnnie Macias. For those of you who know me, you already know the importance this beautiful little blue-eyed boy has brought to our lives. He came to us at a critical time in 2020 and gave us a chance to experience a love and a bond that can never be broken.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When looking at Ryker, you would never know his heart is working as if he only had half a heart. He is full of smiles, hugs, kisses, and pure joy. He has gone through 2 out of the three surgeries that transition his heart to work as one pump instead of the usual two (Fontan circulation). However, these three surgeries are not a repair-they are considered palliative care-palliative care to allow him to grow and give him the best quality of life possible. But if he continues down this path, he will eventually need a heart transplant, have some liver disease and possibly develop PLE (protein-losing enteropathy).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His parents (our son and daughter-in-law) Mando and Danielle Macias found out about a biventricular repair surgery that some elite hospitals and doctors perform. This surgery is considered a repair and not just a “band-aid.” However, it is a riskier surgery and has more upfront complications (possible pacemaker) than the Fontan. Still, the Fontan has many severe long-term effects where the BiVent doesn’t. So, after much research, they asked for a second opinion from the hospital with the most experience and knowledge with this repair, Boston Children’s Hospital. After much consideration, Mando and Danielle have decided to make the 2,500-mile trip to Boston. They are scheduled to go there in October.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Rykers first open heart surgery was at nine days old, and his second open heart was at eight months old. These surgeries were done locally with Loma Linda and his excellent team.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When you meet Ryker, you see a beautiful little boy who greets you with a hug, a wave, a high five or, if you’re lucky…kisses. He loves to be in their gym, helping mom and dad with workouts and mimicking every move. He loves the water, bubbles and blueberries.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We need your help. There will be significant expenses, and we want to help this little family through this critical time. Mando was a United States Marine and served his country with two tours of Iraq. Sadly, he does not qualify for 100% coverage from the VA for Ryker.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Could you help us, help them? Please donate to this fund and pass this on to others who might want to contribute. No amount is too small, just appreciated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please give from your heart to help Ryker's heart.

<div>Hi, my name is Kristin, and some of my dearest friends face a battle like no other! Geoff Hayball was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer last week! As you all know, there are not many resources in the desert for specialized cancer like this, so they must travel! The cost of this is beyond what many can comprehend. There is travel, meals, specialists, out-of-pocket costs, and much more! They are searching for the best and the brightest to save his life! This is where you come into the plan! We need your help financially! Can you give? Can you help us save Geoff?

<div>Hi, yoga community,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I started this go fund me to support Leslie after her house burned down. Leslie is a fantastic human and a vital part of our yoga community. She brings so much warmth and dedication. So, when I saw that her house burned down, I wanted to do something to help her out. Any donations would be appreciated, and if anyone has any yoga clothes to donate to her to help out in any way, you can reach out to Vibe Hot Yoga or me so we can start a donation pile to collect for Leslie. Thanks so much!

<div>I’m Jasmine Pinson, mother to 2 amazing boys, Vijay (16) &amp; Josiah (10), and wife to my awesome husband, Victor.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>20 years ago I was diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis. I had almost died from complications with my kidneys and suffered from a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in my lungs).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My poor lifestyle choices in addition to depression, anxiety, and stress led me to, at only 21 years old, doctors advising against me having children. This only exasperated my growing thoughts of helplessness.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Yoga has helped me regain my health back in mind, body, and spirit.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Competition has helped me continue to grow in my faith and strengthened my diligence in practicing yoga. I have found a community of other inspiring athletes and friends that have encouraged me on this journey to bring the message of hope &amp; God’s love to the world.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Through consistent hard work and incredible encouragement, I had placed 2nd in the Women’s Division (ages 18-49yrs) at the West Coast States Regional Virtual Competition this past February, which led to me being invited to compete in-person at the 2022 Yoga Nationals in Iowa July 30-31!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m fundraising to help ease the financial burden on my family for training and travel expenses.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I appreciate your prayers and any financial help from friends, family, and anyone who would be willing to  help me fulfill my dream.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It would be an honor to represent the state of California this year.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your kindness and generosity! Namaste.<br />

Our current building lease is up May 31st and we are moving to a new location! We are praying for your assistance to help us with some of our construction costs, new equipment, training mats and supplies in hopes that we can continue to build and grow in our new location. Teaching karate to our community has been a blessing and we thank you all for your loving kindness and support.

<p>Kayla is a regular practitioner of Bikram yoga, inferno Pilates and a part of the Energy Exchange Program at Bikram Yoga Plus Palm Desert. She always gives her all, on November 1st prior to the 7am class she had arrived to the studio and doing her pre-workout 1 armed side plank pushups when she collapsed with a Cardiac Arrest. Sheeryn the teacher started CPR for 15 minutes while waiting for the Paramedics, then they took over for another 25 minutes and had to use the defibrillator 3 times to bring her back. Kayla was on life support for 48 hours. The Drs had determined from an EKG that Kayla had like an extra heartbeat which caused the Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Kayla had a ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator) surgically placed in her chest. This ICD has a pacemaker and a defibrillator. The pacemaker can speed up heartbeat if it’s too slow and the defibrillator corrects fast dangerous heartbeats by giving a small amount of electricity to the heart.<br />Kayla is now home with her husband and son, however, this could be weeks before she can get back to work. Her family is in Thailand, husband Chris’s mom Freda has arrived to help from Memphis. We are looking to raise funds to assist Kayla and her family during this long process of her recovery.

Hi my name is Katy and I have been invited to represent the state of Oregon at the National USA yoga championship competition the first weekend of August, 2019 in Virginia. Any donations given will go towards purchasing my plane ticket, housing, food, and special yoga clinics. <br /><br />This support would mean the world to me as this has been a huge dream of mine to go to nationals, and even one day, internationals. Not just to represent the state of Oregon, but also to represent those with disabilities whether it be visible or invisible; that if you can dream it you can do it, regardless of any limitations you think you have. I have grown and gained so much confidence and strength since my first regional competition in 2018, and am excited to see where this journey will take me. <br /><br />Any amount given will help me make this dream come true and will only go towards transportation to and from the yoga studio, housing accommodations, food, and plane ticket. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. &lt;3 <br /><br />Nameste'<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/40467736_1562530965762706_r.jpeg" alt="40467736_1562530965762706_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/40467736_1562530993849396_r.jpeg" alt="40467736_1562530993849396_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/40467736_1562531379701947_r.jpeg" alt="40467736_1562531379701947_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><iframe media_type="0" media_id="5BPdtisJIf0" class="youtube-replace" title="YouTube video player" style="margin-bottom:20px;width:560px;height:315px;" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/5BPdtisJIf0/?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="1"></iframe><iframe media_type="0" media_id="LU1PNLl2qnU" class="youtube-replace" title="YouTube video player" style="margin-bottom:20px;width:560px;height:315px;" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/LU1PNLl2qnU/?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="1"></iframe><iframe media_type="0" media_id="rqxzOFdAAM0" class="youtube-replace" title="YouTube video player" style="margin-bottom:20px;width:560px;height:315px;" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/rqxzOFdAAM0/?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="1"></iframe>
