<div>First, thank you from the entire Lord family for all of the prayers, messages and love everyone has been sending. It is impossible to get back to everyone, but please know the messages are all read and mean so much. While we can’t begin to fathom why something like this would happen to Preston, we know and see each day how much he is loved and the impact he has had on so many.

<div>Preston was assaulted Saturday night at a halloween party. His heart stopped and CPR was performed by kids at the party who stepped in to attempt to save Preston’s life until emergency personnel arrived. They were able to restart Preston’s heart and he was taken to Chandler Regional hospital. He was then transferred to Phoenix Children’s in extremely critical condition with a severe brain injury.

On July 14th, Cole Sukle's life was tragically taken after being struck by a car. In his 14 years, Cole touched many people's lives with his bright, creative and loving personality. <div>Urgent: Ploy, a 50-year-old elephant, is starving to death. Without medical intervention, we could lose her.  She has been working in the tourist riding camps and as a roadside feeding elephant for too long. She is simply starving to death. 
</div>

<div>She has been chained up next to another elephant named Pwong(42 years old) for 20 years. So, we hate the idea of just rescuing Ploy without also rescuing her friend. Not only is Pwong deserving to have her chains broken, but we will feel separated from them both, which could put them both into a depression since they have spent most of their life chained next to each other.

<div>The good news is we have an amazing place we can bring them both. At Boon Lott Elephant Sanctuary-Bless, they will enjoy roaming just over 500 acres. Not only will they be chain-free for the first time in their lives, but Ploy can also receive the much-needed medical care she needs. Without this medical intervention, we fear she will die. -
