My family is going through an incredibly difficult time, and I’m asking for help as we try to get through it. We are losing our home and have to be out by the 20th, and right now I’m trying to figure out how to keep a roof over our heads while everything else keeps piling up. Last week, my daughter was rear-ended by a log truck and lost her car. Since then, I’ve been missing work to help take care of her and take her to doctor visits for whiplash and a concussion. On top of that, I have surgery scheduled for Friday, and I truly don’t know how quickly I’ll be able to get back to work afterward. Being stressed all day, every day has become our reality. It is hard trying to hold everything together when we are facing losing our home, dealing with my daughter’s recovery, and preparing for my own surgery at the same time. The funds from this fundraiser will help with a housing deposit and bills while I’m missing work. That support would give my family a chance to secure a place to stay and get through this stretch without falling even further behind. I’m raising funds for myself and my family because we are facing several urgent challenges at once. We are losing our home and must move. On top of that I just had surgery and it didn’t go quite as expected, which is causing me to miss work, my financial situation was already in a strain before the accident and with the surgery now I am overwhelmed. I am stressed to the max trying to handle the pressure of finding a place to live while also trying to recover from surgery and the missed work that comes with it. I am a single mom that was quite literally working day and night at various jobs to try to raise the funds, but this economy has been too difficult for a single-income family.
