<div>
 Hello everyone,

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Today we come to you asking for your support, prayers, and solidarity during the most difficult moment our family has ever faced.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 On Friday night, while the family was gathered excitedly making final preparations for Ana's wedding—scheduled for the very next day—the unthinkable happened. Lucas, who just turned 10 years old, suffered a severe accident while playing on a trampoline. Following the impact, he developed severe complications and had to be emergency airlifted to Winnipeg, Manitoba.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Upon arrival, he was immediately admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and underwent high-risk brain surgery to control severe bleeding that was exerting critical pressure on his brain.

</div>

<div>
 Currently, Lucas remains in an induced coma in the ICU. Medical staff need to stabilize him before attempting to wake him up, meaning his progress, the length of his hospital stay, and potential long-term effects remain entirely uncertain for all of us.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 His Family's Situation

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Lucas is a boy full of life, kindness, and a smile capable of brightening any room he walks into. His parents, Francisco Andrés Jirón Polo and Diana González Guseva, along with his sister Ana Francisca, are by his side at the hospital in Winnipeg, holding on to faith in God and supporting him through every second of this fight.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 About two years ago, the family made the courageous decision to emigrate to Canada from Ecuador, selling everything they owned to start their life from scratch in Brandon, Manitoba. Like many immigrants, they rely on their daily work and continuous effort.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Today, face-to-face with this emergency, time has come to a standstill for them:

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Francisco and Diana will need to step away from work indefinitely to care for Lucas during his hospitalization in a city away from home, as well as to guide him through the long process of therapy and rehabilitation that lies ahead.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 On top of the physical distance between Brandon and Winnipeg, there are daily expenses for accommodation, transportation, meals, and uncovered medical supplies, alongside the pressing need to keep up with rent and basic utilities at home so it remains ready for when Lucas can return.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 How You Can Help

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 We want Francisco and Diana to be able to focus all their energy and strength on the only thing that matters right now: Lucas's life and recovery. We do not want financial anxiety to be an added burden amid so much pain.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Any donation, no matter how small it may seem, will make a meaningful difference in the daily life of this family far away from their homeland. If you are unable to contribute financially, we ask from the bottom of our hearts that you help us share this campaign with your contacts and keep Lucas in your prayers.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 We are infinitely grateful for your generosity, empathy, and kind wishes to see our dear Lucas smile again.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 With heartfelt gratitude,

</div>

<div>
 The Jirón González Family

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Hola a todos,

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

</span>

</div>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

</div>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

</span>

</div>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

</span>

</div>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

</div>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

</span>

</div>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

</span>

</div>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

<div><span>¿Cómo puedes ayudar? </span>

</div>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

</span>

</div>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

</span>

</div>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

</span>

</div>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

<div><span>Con profunda gratitud,
La familia Jirón González.</span><br />

<div>It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Ashley Hall (Attardo), a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, and dear friend. After a sudden and heartbreaking battle with cancer, Ashley left this world far too soon, leaving behind her husband Dean and their three beautiful children, Noah (12), Aviana (10), and Taven (8).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ashley had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and loved. Her kindness, warmth, and infectious spirit touched so many lives. Whether you knew her as a family member, friend, neighbour, or coworker, chances are she left a lasting impression on your heart.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No family is ever truly prepared for a loss like this. As Dean and the children begin to navigate life without Ashley, they are also facing the overwhelming financial burden that comes with funeral expenses and the day-to-day realities of moving forward after such a devastating loss.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have created this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden by assisting with:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• Funeral and memorial expenses
</div>
<div>• Immediate household and living costs
</div>
<div>• Support for Noah, Aviana, and Taven as they adjust to life without their mom
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution, regardless of size, will make a meaningful difference. Most importantly, it will allow Dean and the children to focus on supporting one another, grieving together, and honouring Ashley’s memory without the added stress of financial uncertainty.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping the Hall family in your thoughts and prayers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On behalf of Dean, Noah, Aviana, and Taven, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during one of the most difficult times a family can face. Your love and compassion mean more than words can express

<div>Help Me Fight Unjust Arrest &amp; Police Misconduct
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Description:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dear Friends and Supporters,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Rusty, and I am facing an incredibly challenging situation that has profoundly impacted my life. On May 31, 2024, I was unlawfully arrested by the Little Falls Police Department and the Minnesota State Troopers. This unjust arrest led to a night spent in jail, causing me to miss my daughter’s graduation—a day I had long anticipated sharing with her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Incident:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My arrest originated from a traffic stop that has since gone viral, garnering over two million views online. The overwhelming support from tens of thousands of viewers has highlighted the urgent need for justice against police misconduct, a problem that affects many.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, this incident has taken a significant toll on my life:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My partner Tina and I, who have been together for 17 years and are both nearing five years of sobriety, had been diligently working towards our goal of building a small cabin by the lake. We purchased a cabin that we moved to our property, and we have invested countless hours and resources into this dream—a dream that provided us solace from the struggles of addiction. However, this vision came to an abrupt halt due to my unlawful arrest and the subsequent trauma inflicted by those who abuse their power. While I recognize not all law enforcement officers behave in this manner, those who do must be held accountable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Additionally, I want to share that I had been 45 days nicotine-free before this incident; however, the stress has led me to relapse, which feels like a personal defeat. I am determined to reset that goal soon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Financial Strain:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Towing and Impound Costs: The cost of impounding my car has placed additional financial strain on me during this difficult time.
</div>
<div>Interlock Device Charges: I am now required to have an interlock device installed in my car, incurring weekly fees.
</div>
<div>Loss of Income: Since my arrest, I have lost my job, and my Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) has been revoked for life. I am currently appealing this decision in the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
</div>
<div>Insurance and Medical Costs: I have lost my health insurance through my employer, resulting in overwhelming medical expenses from previous incidents and ongoing therapy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Legal Battle: I have legal representation for the civil aspect of my case in the Minnesota Court of Appeals and a capable legal defense attorney who is currently engaged in another trial. While I would love to share more about them, I want to respect their privacy before they give consent. I am also seeking a civil rights attorney, but the costs associated with legal representation can be substantial.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My past experiences with police brutality—a harrowing incident in 2020 where I was tased multiple times and beaten into a coma—remind me of the importance of fighting against such abuses of power. Although the charges from that incident were eventually dismissed, the trauma remains.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why I Need Your Help:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds raised through this campaign will directly support:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Legal Representation Costs: Fees for hiring a civil rights attorney who understands the severity of this situation.
</div>
<div>Ongoing Car Expenses: Keeping my car insured and making payments for the interlock device.
</div>
<div>Day-to-Day Costs: Covering basic living expenses during this tumultuous time as I fight for my rights and dignity.
</div>
<div>Medical Expenses: Managing increasing healthcare costs since losing my insurance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Community Support:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The overwhelming support I have received online shows me that I am not alone in this fight. Many of us seek justice against police misconduct, and I aim to be a voice for those who have been silenced. Your support can empower me to stand up for myself and for all individuals who have faced similar injustices.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am deeply grateful for any assistance you can provide—whether through a donation, sharing my story, or simply offering encouragement. Together, we can advocate for accountability and strive for what is right.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sincerely,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

Help Rusty Fight Unjust Arrest & CDL Loss

Dear fellow officials,<br /><br />As I’m sure you have all heard by now, our hockey community suffered a tragic accident this past week. Braden Pettinger, a recent recruit of Portage, suffered a life-altering injury and is now paralyzed. Souris is hosting a benefit social on December 26th for anyone who is interested in attending, however, as officials we thought it would be nice to extend the efforts and collect donations from anyone in our circle that may wish to support Braden and his family during this difficult time. If you wish to contribute to the fund to help Braden and his family cover the medical and travel expenses that they will have, please visit the “go fund me” web page. Simply make your desired contribution and we will transfer the donation lump sum to the family so they can begin using it to help cover upcoming costs.
