My granddaughter has always poured her heart into her 4H projects, caring for her animals and working hard to prepare for each show. Today, she faced a devastating loss when a barn fire destroyed everything she had worked for. In just a few moments, she lost her show rabbits, her show chicken, her meat chickens, and all the equipment she depended on—cages, carriers, feeders, feed, a portacool, and the entire watering system. The barn itself, a place where she spent countless hours learning and growing, is now gone. This tragedy has been incredibly hard on her, but we are determined to help her rebuild. The funds raised will go directly toward rebuilding her barn, replacing the equipment and supplies she lost, and helping her purchase new show animals so she can continue pursuing her passion for 4H. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping her recover from this loss and move forward with hope. In a heartbreaking tragedy that no child should have to endure, my granddaughter did lose everything today.
