Timothy West

Hi, my name is Timothy West. I’m 37 years old, and for most of my life, I’ve been living with the effects of a rare and life-threatening disease called Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. When I was a child, it nearly took my life—and while I survived, I lost most of my eyesight as a result. Living with limited vision has been one of the biggest challenges of my life, but I’ve never stopped hoping and fighting for the chance to see better. Recently, I was blessed to find a doctor nearby who performs a surgery that could potentially save my eyes and greatly improve my vision. Unfortunately, my insurance doesn’t cover this procedure, and the cost is far beyond what I can afford on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out and asking for help. Any contribution—big or small—would bring me one step closer to this life-changing surgery. Even if you can’t donate, simply sharing this with others would mean the world to me.
