- Help Us Bring Jaylyn Home where she can continue to recover from her Tramatic Brain Injury. On August 4th, our lives changed forever. Our beautiful daughter, Jaylyn, was involved in a devastating car accident that left her in critical condition. Since that day, she has been transferred to four different hospitals and still remains in a vegative state with very little progress. Despite countless prayers, long days, and sleepless nights, we have seen little progress in her recovery within the hospital setting. After much prayer and careful consideration, we have made the decision to bring Jaylyn home — where she will be surrounded by the love of her family, the comfort of familiar walls, and the support of friends who have carried us through these darkest months. We truly believe that being home will give her the peace, dignity, and personalized care she needs for the next chapter of her recovery journey. In order to safely bring Jaylyn home, we must make significant modifications to our house. These include: • Widening doorways to accommodate medical equipment and wheelchair access • Renovating a fully accessible bathroom and roll-in shower • Installing necessary safety modifications • Preparing space for in-home medical equipment and caregiving support These changes are urgent and essential to ensure Jaylyn’s safety, comfort, and quality of care. We are incredibly blessed to have an amazing family, friends and a community of skilled laborers who are willing to step in and donate their time, talents, and hands to help make these modifications happen. Their generosity has humbled us beyond words. However, we are still in urgent need of financial support to cover the cost of materials, specialized equipment, accessibility fixtures, and medical-related supplies required to complete the renovations safely and properly Every donation — no matter the amount — will go directly toward creating a safe, accessible space for Jaylyn. If you are unable to give financially, we ask for your continued prayers, shares, and encouragement. We believe in the power of community. We believe in miracles. And we believe that home is where healing begins. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for loving our daughter and standing beside OUR family during this unimaginable season. With gratitude, The Mefford Family
