My name is khouder Daoud, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart during one of the hardest times in my life. My mother is currently battling fibromyalgia and porphyria—two serious conditions that cause her constant, unbearable pain and ❤️extreme exhaustion. Watching her suffer every single day is heartbreaking. There are times when she cannot even get out of bed, and the pain takes away her ability to live a normal life or spend time with us as a family. On top of this, my mother is now in urgent need of a liver transplant. This has made our situation even more critical and overwhelming. She is fighting so hard, but she cannot do this alone. Despite everything she is going through, she remains the strongest person I know. She continues to fight with courage, and seeing her strength gives me hope—but it also makes me realize how much help she truly needs right now. We are trying to raise money to afford her essential medications that must be purchased before next week. These medications are crucial—they help manage her pain and give her a chance to get out of bed, to smile, and to be present with us again. Without them, her suffering only gets worse. At the same time, we are facing the reality of the costs connected to her liver transplant and ongoing care. The financial burden is something we simply cannot handle on our own. This is not easy for me to ask, but I am doing everything I can to stay strong and keep a clear head for her. She has always been there for me, and now it is my turn to be there for her. Recently, we received even more devastating news—she has been diagnosed with porphyria, a rare and serious illness that requires complex and ongoing treatment. My mother has raised four children on her own. She has always been our strength, our safety, and our source of love, even while she was struggling with her own health. Right now, our family is facing multiple challenges at once. My 9-year-old brother died in cancer 6 month ago, and my 17-year-old sister is also fighting cancer. We also have a younger sibling who is only 5 years old. Now, my mother needs urgent medical care. Her treatments and medications are very expensive, and we have been told that she needs a liver transplant to have a chance at a better life. If anything were to happen to her, it would be something unimaginable for me and my siblings. We are already going through so much, and she is the heart of our family. Losing her is something we cannot bear. The funds we are raising will go directly toward her medical treatments, necessary medications, and the costs associated with a liver transplant, including care, travel, and recovery.
