My YouTube journey truly changed my life. Almost a year ago, while reacting to Nas’s “Halftime,” I stumbled into an incredible community called the Renegades. At the time my channel had around 500 subscribers. After uploading a reaction to Ren’s “Halftime Retake,” I woke up the next morning to over 1,000 subscribers and a flood of support welcoming me into what they call the “Ren rabbit hole.” Just weeks later, I became monetized. Since then, I’ve connected with incredible supporters and fellow creators, and the channel has grown into a platform where I highlight up-and-coming artists, local businesses, and creatives who deserve more visibility. After discovering Ren and the Renegades, the journey continued to expand. I’ve since discovered artists like Tom MacDonald and the Hang Over Gang, as well as the wordsmith himself Harry Mack, along with many other incredible artists and creators. Love them or hate them, artists like these have built strong communities and continue to inspire creators like myself. Many of them also have deep catalogs of music and content that I’m excited to continue reacting to and reviewing throughout 2026 and beyond. The Ladder Gang is built on growth — one step at a time. I had been intentionally setting money aside to upgrade my studio setup so I could bring the best quality possible to the channel. My current process works, but it’s time-consuming. I record my reactions on my phone, screen record on an outdated iPad, transfer the files, and then edit everything together before uploading. Upgrading my setup would allow me to create content more efficiently and consistently for the community that continues to support me. Unfortunately, unexpected brake failure forced me to prioritize emergency car repairs over moving forward with the studio upgrade. Now I’m rebuilding the setup fund. What This Upgrade Will Allow Me To Do • Produce higher quality reaction and review videos • Create content faster and more consistently • Continue giving up-and-coming artists a platform and exposure • Improve live streams and community interaction with the Ladder Gang and Ramble Gang Transparency The funds will go toward upgrading the core equipment needed to improve the production quality of the channel, including a computer capable of recording and editing reactions more efficiently, along with other essential streaming and recording tools that will allow me to keep growing the platform.
