I never imagined I would be doing ministry work, especially after spending nine years in prison as a youth. I could not have imagined becoming an ordained minister, completing my Bachelor’s, completing a Master of Divinity in Youth and Family Ministries, or being given the opportunity to serve internationally.
BUT GOD HAD OTHER PLANS FOR MY LIFE
This fall I have the opportunity to travel to Zambia for my first time outside of the United States and my first time on the continent of Africa.
This mission trip is being organized and sponsored by Kingdom Destiny Fellowship International (KDFI) in partnership with DWA Foreign Missions, Inc. (DWAFM). Together, these ministries are coordinating a mission focused on meeting spiritual, medical, and humanitarian needs throughout Zambia.
I am asking my Community to help me raise money to help cover travel expenses and, just as importantly, to make sure I am able to give while I am there. In Zambia, I will participate in community based mission work, help organize and present for youth ministers and leadership. I will support local efforts, bring resources, and contribute directly to the communities we visit.
As a Black man of African descent, this journey carries a deep personal and spiritual meaning for me. I want to go not simply to experience Zambia, but to serve, gain cultural knowledge, build relationships, and be a blessing.
There was a time when the walls of a prison defined how far I could physically go. Now God has opened a door for me to serve across the world.
Any contribution big or small will help make this journey possible fo me.
Thank you in advance❤️
