After spending 11 years in both state and federal prison, I came home to a world that felt unfamiliar and overwhelming. There was no support system waiting for me—no guidance, no resources, and no one to help me find my footing. I found myself constantly trying to play catch up, struggling to meet even my most basic needs. Without a little support or direction, it’s easy to fall back into old patterns just to survive. I know firsthand how quickly desperation can lead someone back to crime, simply because there’s no other way to get food or clothing.
That’s why I’m starting this project: to open a portal of opportunity for anyone coming home from prison. I want to give people a fair chance to rejoin society, to find stability, and to avoid the cycle that so many of us fall into. With your help, I’ll use these funds to provide essentials like food, clothing, and job resources—things that can make all the difference when you’re starting over with nothing.
I want to thank anyone who even takes the time to read this. Even if you don’t donate, I hope you’ll help someone who’s paid their debt to society and just needs a little help and direction to become a law-abiding citizen. Each one teach one. One spoon can feed a village. Your support, in any form, can change a life.
