**UPDATE – June 2026**
With heavy hearts, we share that Tom passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.
We are forever grateful for the love, prayers, messages, and generosity shown throughout his battle with AML. Your support helped make treatments, travel, and precious time together possible, and we will never forget that kindness.
As we begin navigating life without him, the focus has shifted from treatment to honoring his memory and helping our family with cremation, funeral arrangements, a memorial Mass, and the many expenses that come with saying goodbye to someone so deeply loved.
To everyone who has donated, shared, prayed, or simply reached out, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support has meant more than words can express.
Tom spent his life showing up for others. We have been humbled by the number of people who have shown up for him.
Thank you for continuing to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.

**Original description**
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out for help for my father, Tom, who is currently fighting acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
Lately, he’s been in and out of hospitals and clinical trials, doing everything he can to fight this disease. His journey has been incredibly difficult, and unfortunately, the prognosis isn’t good. Despite that, he continues to show strength and resilience every day.
A big part of his fight involves traveling to different hospitals for treatment, including trips to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. These aren’t simple visits; they require long-distance travel, coordination, and someone to accompany him since he’s not able to make these trips on his own.
On top of that, he’s living on a fixed income that simply isn’t enough to cover:
Travel costs (gas, flights, lodging)
Ongoing medical expenses
Daily living needs while undergoing treatment
Additional supplemental insurance
Food
We’re doing everything we can as a family, but the financial strain is becoming overwhelming.
We’re asking for help to ease that burden so he can focus on what matters most, fighting this and spending meaningful time with loved ones.
Every donation, no matter the size, truly makes a difference. If you’re not able to give, sharing this page would mean just as much to us.
He’s always been someone who showed up for others. Right now, we’re hoping people can show up for him.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can give.
