Hi everyone ❤️ I’m setting up this GoFundMe to try and help my mum, Sara Greenfield, get a new mobility scooter. Unfortunately, her mobility scooter has recently broken, and she simply cannot afford to replace it. For most people, losing a scooter might be an inconvenience, but for my mum it means losing a huge part of her independence. Her scooter is her main way of getting out, doing things for herself and being part of the community without having to rely on somebody else. We have tried to get her an electric wheelchair, but unfortunately she isn’t eligible for one, leaving us desperately trying to find another way to help her. My mum has always been someone who puts other people before herself. She has spent years supporting adults and children within our local community, and she also runs a non-profit youth club, giving her time and energy to help local children and families. She is constantly doing things for other people and asking for nothing in return. Now she is the one who needs a little bit of help. We’re hoping to raise enough to either purchase a suitable mobility scooter or at least make a significant contribution towards one. Every single donation, no matter how small, would make a genuine difference. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would mean so much to us and could help us reach someone who is able to help.
