Well it's been a while figured i would catch everybody up to speed as to where we are at coming in on month 4. I just got my 2nd bone infusion so ready for some flu like symptoms for next 3 days. Just got back from seeing the cardiopulminary Dr. he ran more test on my heart to see if it could handle taking lasix the water pill. Unfortunately my test came back bad as my chemo is putting water around my heart. So i will have to be admitted for a week so they can do this drainage procedure. I am not gonna explain this painful procedure but please look it up WOW. Once i can get the fluid out and away from my heart then i can start an aggressive dose of lasix to remove the water weight i have gained. For u visual ppl my body looks like the movie the nutty professor we all swole up trying not to pop. lol. i also got put on a cholesterol pill due to the chemo medication as well that is off the charts as well. So this is it in a nut shell we just keep dealing with and fighting this cancer. Thank you to those that have just reached out and always prayers needed never enough of those. Also if you have donated some named some not named thanks from the bottom of my heart where the fluid is lol those that know just know the fight and struggles that come with something you definately didnt ask for. love yall

Well for those following and maybe wanting an update. We have completed 3 months of chemo. Still dealing with insomnia and severe edema. We are also currently on a water pill to help but we may need to increase that dosage. For the remaining month we have a full blood panel Sept 23 and a follow up consultation with the team, capped off with another bone infusion. Sept. 24 will be downtown MD Anderson to the the cardiologist for this fluid around the heart issue that my chemo has caused. i also ordered 200 lung cancer awareness rubber bracelets to hand out at some point since November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Miss everybody and here is a pic of my bracelet and there are more sayings. Also my foot with severe edema that keeps me in pain and off of them.
