Alaya's mom was recently involved in a devastating head-on collision caused by a driver who should not have been on the road. The other driver had a revoked license and no insurance, and the accident left Alaya's mom with serious injuries. Right now, Alaya's mom is immobile and has to use a wheelchair and walker to get around. She may also need physical therapy as part of her recovery. The financial burden on Alaya's family is overwhelming. Her mom is on a limited income so she is not able to afford the mounting medical bills and surgery costs. On top of that, she needs a new car to get around, and the family is struggling to cover basic necessities like food while she recovers. With limited income and so many unexpected expenses, they are reaching out for help from their community. Anything you can spare will not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
