advnt UF

advnt is an advertising student organization at the University of Florida's College of Journalism & Communications (UFCJC). Annually, advnt publishes an advertising portfolio by student, for students. The best creative advertising work made by students in the UFCJC is immortalized in print and distributed to professionals at UF, as well as a sea of advertising agencies & creative professionals. This provides students the opportunity to network and show professionals just how hirable and desirable they are. Additionally, each member and student who is featured in the volume will receive a copy of the book to bring to job interviews, put on their resume and portfolio, etc. Our members work on the copywriting, creative art direction, theme, website, and marketing of the volume, while we take work submissions from any student who loves advertising at the University of Florida. Printing our book is the biggest cost to our organization every year, and the time is almost here to pay for Volume 8. We are kindly asking for any donation from anyone who wants to support our creatives at the University of Florida. advnt is not funded by student government or the school in any way, therefore we face this cost completely by ourselves. Printing can cost upwards of $1,000 for our organization and we are hoping to get close to that in donations! The more money we receive, the more copies of Volume 8 we are able to distribute to agencies and professionals all around the country to help set our students up for success in their future career! After covering the printing cost, leftover money will help the organization pay for our website, our Issuu subscription that provides a platform for our books digitally, a Volume 8 launch & networking event to celebrate our creatives hard work, future volumes printing cost, and other fun stuff to give our creatives a safe space to do their thing!
