</div>
<div>I am <strong>Christopher Loney</strong>, a proud Jamaican Canadian from Toronto, Ontario, and the <strong>President of the Albert George Loney Foundation</strong>.
</div>
<div>To many, I am known as the <strong>Honey Guru</strong>, a name that carries my belief that healing and love are like honey: sweet, natural, and meant to be shared.

<div>I was born and raised in the heart of <strong>Shrewsbury Housing Scheme, Petersfield, Westmoreland, Jamaica</strong>, a place that taught me the true meaning of love, unity, and hard work.
</div>
<div>That little <strong>community</strong> helped shape who I am today. It’s where I learned to serve, to care, and to build from the ground up.
</div>
<div>Today, that same <strong>community</strong> is hurting deeply.
</div>

<div><strong><em>Why I’m Doing This</em></strong>

<div>Recently, Hurricane Melissa swept through <strong>Westmoreland</strong>, devastating my <strong>hometown</strong> and leaving families with nothing but memories of what once was. Houses were torn apart. Belongings washed away.
</div>
<div>The land that raised me, the <strong>homes </strong>of my <strong>friends, neighbours</strong>, and <strong>elders</strong>, now lie in ruins. When I saw the destruction, I couldn’t sit still. I knew I had to act, not as a businessman, but as a son of that soil.

<div>That’s why, through my foundation and our partners, I launched the initiative.

<div>We’ve come together with one mission to restore hope, dignity, and stability to families in Shrewsbury, Westmoreland.

<div>Our goal is to adopt one family at a time and provide them with everything they need to start again.
</div>

<div>Each care package will be packed into a crate and shipped directly to Jamaica, where it will reach families who’ve lost everything. Every crate represents one family’s new beginning, their chance to rebuild, recover, and rise again.

<div>This <strong>mission </strong>is not only about material support. We are also creating a safe space for <strong>mental wellness and emotional healing</strong>. We’ll provide <strong>counselling</strong> and <strong>mental health services</strong> to help families reconnect the <strong>Mind, Body, and Soul</strong>, the true foundation for rebuilding a stronger community.
